Commercial On-Grid Solar Installation | BP on Bridge and Mary Street

The commercial solar installation at BP Bridge and Mary consisted of a 36.4 Kilowatt system featuring 91, 400 Watt Seraphim panels coupled with a three phase 27.6 KW SolarEdge Inverter. ​

​The SolarEdge inverter offers a 12-year warranty (extendable to 25 years), with a built-in panel level monitoring receiver with wireless connectivity.  The client chose to install a Modbus SolarEdge energy meter which allows real time production and consumption monitoring of the system.   For our clients who install the monitoring platforms, Airlec actively monitor the performance and receive alerts for abnormal activity so that any faults or production issues can be identified and rectified promptly.

The Seraphim SRP-400 BMA solar module boasts two identical parts, which are composed of cells that are half the size of ordinary solar cells. By cutting cells into halves, these smaller currents will help reduce “Cell To Module” loss, which means higher output. In the meantime, the overall space between cells are doubled, and more light will be transferred into power through multiple reflections. Compared to mainstream standard modules, this module series has lower current and series resistance which helps minimize mismatch loss, internal power loss and shadow effect.
The panels have a 15-year guarantee on product material and workmanship and a 25-year linear power output warranty.
